All Road Safety agencies from OISEVI countries and members of the Cooperation Committee attended the meeting which was held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Several topics were discussed at the meeting, among them, the design of a Strategic Plan to provide Road Safety guidance to countries involved; Haiti request to become the 21st member of this international group, and the presentation of a Declaration describing progress made in these last five years.

The Declaration highlights the increase in road crashes involving motorcycles among the underprivileged population in the region, recommending actions to improve immediate care after crashes.
