The agreement, signed by Mar\u00eda Fernanda Rodr\u00edguez, president of the Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez Foundation, and Mar\u00eda Julia Garcete Yegros, general director of the IIN-OAS, establishes a collaboration framework that will allow the joint execution of research projects, the dissemination of relevant information and the organization of events and training activities.<\/p>\n
The Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez Foundation, a recognized civil society organization, is committed to promoting public policies that promote safe and healthy mobility for children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean. To achieve this, it coordinates with national and subnational governments, international organizations, academia, civil society and the private sector in three complementary axes: research (creation and dissemination of knowledge), promotion of regulations and public policies, and training to promote advocacy. This agreement facilitates international cooperation with government agencies from other countries to advance safe mobility and jointly design programs and projects dedicated to promoting the rights of children and adolescents, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. .<\/p>\n
