



{"id":37702,"date":"2018-08-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gonzalorodriguez.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/b0ba08f4e0d3e25d55019fbf68dea6bb12135537.jpg"},"modified":"2025-08-05T17:51:19","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T20:51:19","slug":"trabajando-por-la-movilidad-segura-de-los-ninos-argentinos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gonzalorodriguez.org\/en\/noticias\/trabajando-por-la-movilidad-segura-de-los-ninos-argentinos\/","title":{"rendered":"Working on Argentinian Children Safe Mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>On August 23, Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez\u00b4s staff started in Neuqu\u00e9n a tour of the different cities assessed in the report \u201cTransport of children to school and safety in school zones\u201d the research phase of the programme &#8220;Children Safe in Traffic in Latin America&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>This study included an observational study of child pedestrians in the school zone about risk behaviors, and an infrastructure survey with Star Rating for Schools, a tool developed by the International Road Assessment Programme (IRAP) that rates school zones safety from 1 to 5 stars.<\/p>\n<p>In the tour, that will continue with the cities of Guaymall\u00e9n (Mendoza), the capital city of Corrientes and San Salvador de Jujuy, results will be presented and workshops will be implemented on the specific road safety and child road safety challenges to be faced by each city. Relevant actions and stakeholders will be identified.<\/p>\n<p>These presentations and workshops are part of the Fundaci\u00f3n\u00b4s constant joint work with the ANSV since it took on the challenge of hosting the third FISEVI in Argentina in June, 2016.
