Together with Porto Seguro Seguros and Porto Servicios and for the second consecutive year, the Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez conducted these safe mobility presentations to 5th and 6th year students.<\/p>\n
The \u201cI Travel Safely\u201d workshops aim to promote preventive behavior in the youngest and most vulnerable road users, raising awareness among school students about the safety conditions when traveling by any means of transport – motorcycle, car, bus, school vehicles – or as a pedestrian, providing technical information and carrying out fun-learning activities related to the issue.<\/p>\n
These activities, led by a certified expert on Child Passenger Safety from the Fundaci\u00f3n\u00b4s Training Department, also featured staff from Porto Servicio, who through volunteer work showed the company\u00b4s commitment to the cause.<\/p>\n
After the activity school children were handed out an information brochure with recommendations on the safe transport of children for each means of transport.<\/p>\n
Six workshops were organized in 2017 – at 5 schools- doubling in number the previous year\u00b4s activities. Schools involved are listed below:<\/p>\n

The activities organized by the Training Department at the Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez are part of actions carried out by the organization to disseminate relevant and timely information for the development of skills and the use of tools needed by institutions and individuals from different areas of action to promote the protection of children and adolescents as road users.<\/p>\n
