\u00a0<\/span>on May 8, 2017, within the context of the Global Road Safety Week together with representatives from the World Bank, CAF – Latin America Development Bank, PAHO\/WHO and the Road Safety National Agency (UNASEV).<\/p>\nThe Fundaci\u00f3n keeps working in the coordination of all stakeholders involved in the study and governments in the region to have it presented in each of the participating countries.<\/p>\n
Aiming at halving the number of deaths and injuries caused by road crashes by 2020 – goal set by the United Nations as part of the Sustainable Development Goals-, the Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez together with the World Bank, the CAF- Latin America Development Bank, the UPS Foundation and OISEVI, conducted this study as a first direct approximation to the issue. This work, supported by the National Road Safety Agency and carried out through FACTUM, aims at the creation of a knowledge base in the medium term to improve the conditions in which children travel on motorcycles. .<\/p>\n
