{"id":37642,"date":"2017-05-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-05-12T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gonzalorodriguez.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/a42d1082937933617caafeed702c4cb6f99a3975.jpg"},"modified":"2025-08-05T17:51:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T20:51:21","slug":"bajauncambio-por-la-seguridad-de-los-ninos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gonzalorodriguez.org\/en\/noticias\/bajauncambio-por-la-seguridad-de-los-ninos\/","title":{"rendered":"#SlowDown for children safety"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p-copete\">Aiming to promote safe school environments, the Fundaci\u00f3n organized urban interventions in the surroundings of 3 public schools and 3 private schools in Montevideo, asking drivers to slow down near education centers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tx-noticia\">\n<p>Together with traffic police officers from the Municipality of Montevideo, children from these schools made a &#8220;human chain&#8221; stopping the traffic holding a banner and signs asking drivers to slow down. At the same time, staff from the Fundaci\u00f3n together with entertainers handed out information leaflets on the importance of slowing down to protect children\u00b4s lives.
