Child Restraint Systems. A multidimensional approach to strengthen their use. The case of Chile
This document summarizes the four main lines of action that made up the long-term policy for strengthening the use of RS in Chile: diagnosis and adaptation of vehicle design and technology; control of laws and regulations; education and development of institutional capacities; and communication and social marketing campaigns aimed at citizens to promote cultural change and strengthen the use of CRS.

It is necessary that road safety moves from idea to action and becomes "state policy", that it occupies an important place in government programs and that society as a whole takes it as a major task in their work agendas, to prevent this "epidemic" from continuing to take the lives of children, ensuring their right to travel safely on the roads, a task that depends entirely on adults.
