Authorities participated in the "Re-Thinking Mobility" meeting to promote safe mobility
Within the framework of the Global Road Safety Week, declared by the United Nations, the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez (FGR) in coordination with the PAHO/WHO Representation in Uruguay and the support of the International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee (CITA) and the National Road Safety Unit (UNASEV), organized a meeting to "Rethink Mobility" in order to work towards active and safe mobility, according to the recommendations of the Global Road Safety Plan.

Motorcyclists' safety: capacity building

The first official mission to El Salvador took place within the framework of the South-South cooperation project signed between the governments of Uruguay and El Salvador called "Strengthening of El Salvador's capacities for the sustainable management of road safety".

International cooperation: actions to improve child road safety
Bases for an integrated management of road safety is the project approved by the Uruguay-Mexico Joint Cooperation Fund in its V call for proposals. The initiative will be managed for two years by the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez; the National Road Safety Unit (Unasev) of Uruguay; and the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Jalisco, Mexico. They will work on the implementation of evidence-based policies for child road safety; and on relevant contributions on innovative practices for road safety management.

COMIXED international cooperation
Thanks to the coordinated work with the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation, we were able to add road safety as an element of international cooperation for the first time, this time with the government of El Salvador.

Municipal motorcycle school project moves forward in Argentina
For several years, the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez has been strongly committed to work in Argentina, cooperating with the National Road Safety Agency and with the municipalities that have been part of the motorcyclist safety work project.
