Road Safety is the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez´s main area of work, addressing the different types of child mobility.

More than 3600 children die every day globally, 95% of whom lived in low and middle-income countries. In said context, Latin America is no exception, this is the reason why regional application programs have been developed from the beginning.

How do we do it?
By promoting Road Safety through the following lines of action: Research, Training, Advocacy.

Research:
We aim to generate input to increase knowledge to include Child Road Safety on the public policy agenda, as well as developing recommendations based on scientific evidence.

Training:
We share relevant and timely information, we help people develop skills and use tools needed by institutions and individuals to promote the protection of children and adolescents as road users.

Advocacy:
We generate networks that allow us to include Child Road Safety in the public agenda. This is made possible through the implementation of joint/coordinated actions with several relevant stakeholders.
