High impact urban intervention As part of the 20th anniversary of the Gonzalo Rodriguez Foundation, a high-impact urban intervention was held to raise awareness and publicly reaffirm the concern and request the commitment of all to work to improve road safety in Uruguay, which in 2019 claimed the lives of 422 people.

Research on Mobility, Transit and Transport in the context of Coronavirus for Uruguay and Argentina In order to continue working for road safety as it has been doing for 20 years, the Gonzalo Rodriguez Foundation presented the results of the studies for Uruguay, Argentina and comparisons between both countries, in order to contribute with the knowledge base for decision making in a crucial moment for our countries.
Safety of the motorcyclist; a priority for Argentina Considering that according to the latest official records, almost half of the victims of traffic accidents in Argentina were motorcyclists, a percentage that has been increasing in recent years; the Gonzalo Rodriguez Foundation, with the support of the ANSV, developed the training “Training of Trainers for safe motorcycle riding”.
Technical webinars With the capacity to adapt quickly to the circumstances we are living in the region, from the Gonzalo Rodríguez Foundation we are planning a cycle of specific webinars, aimed at decision makers in the region, to continue leaving the knowledge installed in the countries. More than 450 people from more than 15 countries participated in the cycle, which up to the moment counted with 6 thematic webinars.
Children’s Road Safety Plan in Argentina Together with Argentina’s National Road Safety Agency, we continue working to implement a children’s road safety plan, training provincial referents to improve the reality of children’s road safety at the local level.
References in mobility and public space shared successful practices The meeting held online was hosted by María Fernanda Rodríguez, President of the Gonzalo Rodríguez Foundation (FGR), Pablo Martínez Carignano, Executive Director of the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) and Jorge Rubino, Director of Motorcycle Safety of the ANSV.
Changing Habits: Circulation in Argentina Post Covid19 1 in 2 Argentines would avoid using public transport at least until the end of the year. This is what the study “Means of Transport in the Post Pandemic” by the Gonzalo Rodríguez Foundation points out. According to the study, 7 out of 10 people are unaware that road accidents claim more than 5,400 lives per year.
Launch of safe motorcycle driving course Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez, with the support of Argentina’s National Road Safety Agency, will be holding its “Training of Trainers for Safe Motorcycle Riding” training course starting on 11 June.
