Safe Mobility Week for Motorcyclists in Catamarca “We focus on the reddest areas of Argentina. We want to give more knowledge and more tools to motorcycle instructors and that is what we are doing from the Fundación together with ANSV” explained Fernanda Nani Rodríguez, president of Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez.
Presentation of the campaign dedicated to young motorcyclists A public good campaign aimed at citizens was presented, from which a message is expected to reach the target population, especially young motorcyclists, to raise awareness about the use of passive safety elements, as well as to know their rights and responsibilities in the use of the road.
Launch of the Program for Instructors in Safe Motorcycle Driving Together with the National Road Safety Agency of Argentina and the Licensing Directorate, we presented in the city of Guaymallén (Mendoza) the start of the Practical Specialization Program for Instructors in Safe Motorcycle Driving, which will enable those who take it to identify themselves as specialized instructors in licenses for these vehicles.
Promoting child road safety actions through international cooperation With the support of the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we presented our work on child road safety to the delegations in Uruguay of Panama, El Salvador and Colombia.

New edition of the course “Trainers for safe motorcycle riding”. This week we launched in Argentina the last virtual edition of the “Trainers for safe motorcycle riding” course. This project, which we developed with the support of the National Road Safety Agency of Argentina, was affected by the mobility restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic throughout our countries.
Presentation of Provincial Plans for Child Road Safety Throughout the week we participated in the presentation of the Provincial Child Road Safety Plans of the provinces of San Juan, Mendoza, Tierra del Fuego, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Catamarca and Santa Fe.
Improving child road safety in Central America Road traffic crashes are, according to the WHO, the leading cause of death for children and young people between 5 and 29 years of age. In the Americas, the mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 15.6, but across the region the figures are extremely disparate.
Child Road Safety in Catamarca As part of the Child Road Safety program that we started to develop in April 2020 together with the National Road Safety Agency of Argentina, we started training more than 150 technicians and decision makers in Catamarca.
Together with Intrant we signed an agreement for children’s road safety This agreement seeks to promote, implement and manage public policies and programs for Child Road Safety in the Dominican Republic.
Federal Programme for Child Road Safety in Argentina – 2021 Together with the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez and the National Road Safety Agency of Argentina, progress continues to be made in the development of provincial child road safety plans.
