The third International Child Road Safety Forum is here, in Argentina The third International Child Road Safety Forum (FISEVI) will be held on June 12 and 13, 2018, in Buenos Aires, in the context of the National Road Safety Week in Argentina.
Reducing risk behaviors, increasing safe school zones Within the context of the launch of the programme “Children Safe in Traffic in Latin America”, the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez together with the Primary Education Board (CEIP), national and provincial officials, presented on March 15, the report “Child transport to school, and safety in school zones†and the public campaign “Don´t repeat it this year†that identifies, and attempts to modify incorrect behavior in traffic observed in the report.
Agreement for Child Safe Mobility in Canelones Aiming to reduce the number of child victims in road accidents, an agreement between Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez and the Municipality of Canelones was signed on Tuesday, February 27. Both organizations committed to defining actions to guarantee safe child mobility in Canelones.
FISEVI’s call for papers was closed On January 31 expired the extension of the deadline to present papers focused on the safe mobility of children. The call made by Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez and the National Road Safety Agency of Argentina for Road Safety leaders from different fields, closed with 59 applications registered.
The Check Up Point needs your support As from this year, and after 6 years of providing free advice about child seat installation, the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez will request for a minimum contribution after visiting the Check-Up Point in order to make the service self-sustainable.
