We acknowledged the companies that collaborate with our work

Two key objectives that we carry out with the programs we develop in Uruguay are to place road accidents on the public agenda and to work for safe and healthy mobility. In this way, through awareness-raising actions we seek to work towards the creation of a safe system that involves the reduction of road accidents, framed in the work of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Our Road Safety Awareness and National Child Passenger Program programs seek to place the issue on the public agenda and worked on training and advice to organizations related to road safety. And it is thanks to the companies that collaborate with us that we are able to achieve our objectives.

Banco de Seguros del Estado, Blue Cross & Blue Shield de Uruguay, CIEMSA, Colier S.A, Construcciones Viales y Civiles (CVC), CSI Ingenieros, Porto Seguro Seguros, Serviam, Linsu and Yomani S.A, are the companies recognized for their contributions to the project during 2019 and 2020.

"For the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez, the support we receive from these companies is very important to carry out the work we do in our country. Their supportive CSR contribution enables us to develop concrete, high-impact actions that allow us to move forward with firm steps to achieve our goal of improving road safety in Uruguay," said María José Pessano, executive director of the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez.

With their support, actions were developed that achieved more than 120 press releases, more than 1,000,000 people reached on social networks with more than 700,000 video reproductions, and more than US$1,000,000 return on advertising investment.

The Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez is a non-profit Non-Governmental Organization whose goal is to eliminate deaths and serious injuries caused by traffic accidents, promoting safe and healthy mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The organization, which has been working in our country for more than 20 years, is also present in Argentina, Chile and will soon be present in Colombia, El Salvador and Panama.
