Child road safety as a priority – International Forum
Santiago de Chile will host the Second International Child Road Safety Forum (FISEVI) on June 16th and 17th. FISEVI is organized by Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez and hosted by Chile´s Traffic National Commission and the Automobile Club of Chile.
In this opportunity FISEVI will gather international road safety experts, opinion leaders, and United Nations’ Five Pillars will be analyzed in depth, as part of the Decade of Action for Road Safety focused on children. Its goal is to facilitate exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices to improve Road Safety management.
It is Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez belief that it is a top priority to generate and facilitate space for a debate of this kind, to foster trainings, knowledge exchange, and building towards a road safety policy adapted to the needs of Latin America with a focus on one of the most vulnerable road users: children.
The International Child Road Safety Forum will address different strategies, such as the creation and implementation of public policies, actions that can be led by civil society organizations and / or private institutions.
The contribution of all is necessary to achieve public policies tailored to the needs of Latin American countries.
