The Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez supported the new child seats act in Chile The new Chilean act that came into force on March 17, states that children under 12 should always travel in the back seat of the car, wearing a seat belt or a suitable child restraint system. It also states that until turning 9 years old (or 135 cm tall and 33 kilograms) children should travel in a child seat suitable for their age, height and weight.
