With the objective of encouraging a cultural change among society, we make use of one of the main tools to do so: the implementing and spreading of Public Good campaigns that disseminate the message of our work.
In this sense, the Foundation has developed different campaigns.
Use a Chair, travel safe, arrive safe / “Usá Silla. Viaja seguro, llega seguro”. 2010, 2011, 2012.
The campaign went after three principal objectives: -raising awareness so society can realize the need for the use of Child Restraint Systems (CRS) as the only possible way for children to travel safely, -involving the authorities and different agents from society in the promotion and regulation of the use of CRS, - and motivating the population in general to create the habit of using CRS.
Use a Chair is law / “Usar Silla es Ley”. 2013, 2014.
After the passing of the Law 19.061 (that reaffirms the enforceability of the use of Child Restraint Systems in every private vehicle for every boy and every girl from ages 0 to 12 and teenagers up to 18 years old that have a height that is inferior to 1.50 m.), the campaign named “Usar Silla es Ley” was launched.
Its objectives were to sensitize the population about the importance of the use of Child Restraint System, and informing about the legal obligation of the use of CRS at a national level.
