Fundación Gonzalo Rodriguez is committed to collaborate in the transmission of relevant and timely information, skills development and application of tools that people and institutions from different fields of action needed to promote the protection of children and adolescents as road users, through its Training department.
The Foundation count with two "Technicians on Child Passenger Safety" who took their certification in the United States according to the curriculum of Safe Kids Worldwide ( SKW ) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) .
Several interest groups to be trained on Child Passenger Safety have been detected, both at national and international level.
In 2011, the Foundation creates a training program in “Child passenger safety for Latin America and the Caribbean", in Spanish based on the basic concepts of the "National Child Passenger Safety Certification" which SKW carries on in the United States and English.
